Pacing Guide
Comprehensive pacing guide requires no teacher prep time and gives the teacher the confidence that they will be covering reading, math, science, and social studies each day.
Countdown
This unique program provides supplemental and much-needed practice for students who will be taking the state reading exam. The reading passages included in this program also address Sunshine State Standards in the content areas of science and social studies. Imagine! Three for the price of one! Written at appropriate grade levels, these engaging stories offer students an opportunity to practice different question formats: multiple choice, short answer and long answer. The stories have been strategically placed in increasing levels of difficulty to help build student confidence as they progress through summer school. As a result, students can achieve early success and develop confidence in the assessment process. The informative stories include a variety of genres so teachers will be assured that as their students practice reading, they are also acquiring necessary science and social studies skills. With reading passages ranging in length from 700-900 words, this program gives students that extra push that will lead them to success and help develop life-long, confident readers.
